Normally I'd agree, but having the Eduard S199 shows the sheer quality that Eduard will bring it the party. My only gripe is that they'll be the G and K variants, when what we really need are the B, C and D versions.

I'm just curious to see if they'll scale down the Tempests. They obviously are going to do so with the short nose Merlin Spits.

They probably will downsize the Tempests, not sure about the other Bf 109 versions though.

I got a regular e-mail today from ASK and they are advertising this as being available from Eduard, although the Eduard site says "Discontinued" ? . A 1/72 scale Velorex 3 wheeler. Never heard of it but I thought some here would have. Mind you it must be tiny in 1/72  :o  They do 3 or 4 boxings apparently.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

That's a tube framed, leather covered, three wheeler motorcar  :o

And yes, it would be tiny in 1/72

One of those would've rather nice sitting next to one of my Czech whifs.

In other news, the 72nd Bf 109 G-2/G4 is out.  Well, they have them for sale on their website.

Velorex went on to manufacture sidecars.  I've had a couple of Jawa motorcycles with them bolted on the side.  Great fun.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Hopefully they'll have it on their stand at Telford

Are they there this year?

I'm hoping they'll release some of their decals separately - I'd like a set or two of the decals from the S199 combo.  An email is in order, I think.

Just had a notification from Hannants that the eduard 1/72 Bf-109G-2 & G-4 double kit is in stock so it should be available at Telford this weekend.

Good, one less to buy.  I'll get Uncle Frank to order it. I get a discount, Frank gets the slice between and the Lowestoft Thievery Corporation don't stiff me.

The Wooksta!

I took the opportunity to buy several over trees of their new G as well as an E and an F over the weekend.  The combo looks nice, but I care not for any of the markings nor the flashy extras.  Why pay 30 notes for the combo when I can have four overtrees and still have change for a pint?

Must admit I did pick up the combo which looks really nice and the 20% discount covered things like the masking sets which I would have had to get anyway. Some of the deals on the overtrees were  excellent, picked up the Hellcat, but I do wonder if they are genuine overruns on the production line or just another line and name for them to sell under. Probably the later, but who cares  ;D

Just pre-ordered the dual combo Bf109-G5 & Bf109-G6 pack from Jadlam Racing, had a coupon with them which helped drop the price a couple of quid. Due for release at the start of the new year.

TBH, I may just order a pair of G-6 Overtrees as I don't need the masks, etch or markings.  Even with postage,  they should still be cheaper.
