at the fence at Koksijde AFB: 12.05.2011

took the day of from work yesterday to do a bit of spotting at the fence of Koksijde Air Force Base.
result of the day: 2 seakings, 2 Alouette III's, 1 A109, 1 C-130, 2 F-16AM's and a Red Devils Sf260

first up, the Gate Guards of Koksijde, the Hawker Hunter F.4 (1963-1967) and the Sikorsky HSS1 (1961-1986)





first thing, checked the fence at the squadron hangar, only the Navy's Alouette III was visible outside  



later made my way over to the fence at the west aviation club, a nice open view of the base, immediatly spotted the Red Devils Marchetti  



later, a Seaking came back from a mission and performed a little demo for visitors  







l tad later, this Belgian Herkybird showed up  







then the Navy did some haulin exercises  ......



a Belgian Army A109BA showed up.......





and at the end of the day, they were towing a IAI B-Hunter UAV over to the other side of the base, these aircraft are normally based at Florennes, but 1 is deployed to Koksijde once in a while for patrols over the North Sea  
there was also a base Attack by 2 F-16's, but the pics didnt turn out good, the Red Devils Team was also expected, but it was a no-show
