**WARNING**  REAL LIFE FACTS BEING INTERJECTED INTO WHIFFERY....

The 4 engine 234 C was quite overpowered and could not be flown straight and level at full boar.  Shocking, I know, and overpowered WW2 jet!  The pilots said it was a stupendous performer...but too little to late once again.

Your 8 engine variant sounds great!  However, you may need to add a new wing, or pseudo-represented reinforced wing to deal with all that overpowering of the airframe.

I know, stupid real life....I know better than the quote that crap in here!

Now Greg - perhaps you could build the 4 engined Me 262 - on the google images search, I have seen a nice image (nicely photo-shopped) with two independent engines under each wing - a fella would need some external fuel tanks

but it would be a nice build

I would think two engines out on that thin wing would be a bit much. A future build for me is a 4-engined Me-262, with two of the engines "buried" in the fuselage. Lots of mixing and matching of 262 variants, but it will be a stretched and spanned, glass-nosed bomber version. Someday....

yes I am in a 262 variant phase myself - have been for years - while I acknowledge the 4 engine weight thing - everything is possible in wiffy stuff.  I currently have an aquatic 262 on the slow build  - and want to do a couple of 262Z's - the two fuselage with 3 engines in a cluster is very tempting - but I am doing a course of study at the moment and plastic has a back seat - such is life.
