Fifty cals on both the commander's and loader's hatches?  You Texans don't screw around, do you?

Well the last thing you want to do is make the loader feel effeminate with a mere .30 cal, isn't it?  ;)

You know, it's a funny thing: from some angles, my brain "buys it" that it's a front-engined tank, and from others, it just goes "nope - it's a funny-looking Sherman with it's turret traversed".

I think if I was to do one (don't hold your breath) I'd try a welded-hull Sherman and square the old-front/new-back off with plastic card....

Looking good, Ron! I take it the commander will wear a pair of ivory-handled peacemakers?

Pearl handed revolvers are only for pimps from cheap New Orleans' cathouses, you know.

Man, this thing is turning out awesome!

I'm not sure if this vehicle's commander would carry ivory handled Colts but he might wear cowboys boots with his HBTs, as legend claims was done by WW2 American tank ace and Texas native Lafayette Pool.
Some clever and amusing quote goes here.

Or a Stetson at the least!

Turret traversed? Interesting idea. Ron, how about some pics of this beast with the turret pointing aft to give it a more conventional look - just for sh!+s 'n' giggles.

Hey thanks y'all  Sorry I didn't respond before now but the danged ISP was down all day yesterday :banghead:
Of course no Texican would have pearl grips (shudder) I am also a big fan of both Mr Scott and Patton(he was right about the Russians).
Anyone who goes to war with a Colt Single Action and a .357 Magnum can be my general any day
Here she is still only partially weathered

And here she is traversed to the rear (don't sneak up on me)

Looks great with decals!

The turret pointing rear, looking like a conventional tank, also works quite well, doesn't it? Sorta like a very heavy Sherman.
Cheers,
