It is just a pity that they have not done the F3D-2M with Sparrow AAM's.

That's a mere bagatelle to a man of your ability JayBee........  ;D

If you're short of Sparrows I have a few dozen in The Loft somewhere.  ;D

A bit of screen over the loft vents should prevent that in future.  ;)

It'd need a lot more than screen to do that in my loft!  :o

Noticed on Hannants that Sword have announced two EE Lightning trainers, a T.4 and T.5:
Sword Lightning trainers on Hannants

Can't find anything on Swords website, but that's very good news.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Captain Canada

It is good news, but hopefully Airfix will announce the same !

Actually the only difference seems to be the decal sheet as they have both fins on the sprue from the look of the sprue shots.

That means with one of them and an Airfix F2A you could cross-kt to build pretty much every Lightning Mark.

Hannants say that Sword have made another run of the trainer Lightnings and they've bought the whole production run.

Surprise from Sword, single-seat early Lightnings:

F.1/F.2:

F.3:

These look like good value for money, with etch, resin and good decal sheets all for £15 each.

ALSO, Seafires Mk.II and III:
