Superb. Is like a natural mixture. A step in the evolution of this plane.

That shape looks so right you could put it on the USN SIG stand and no-one would even notice!

Great idea and very well done too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

That is astounding in how natural it looks!

You could probably convince a good number of people that it was real. Unless they new that the US Navy had an aversion to two seat versions of aircraft for the longest time, you could probably get them to take your word for it that it was real.

We have a number of people within the SIG who are very skilled at using the "BS" factor when screwing with the minds of haples punters at the shows. :) Convincing even the most knowledgeable modeler of USN types. They will stand no chance.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

.....and we've developed the art of the 'dead-pan face' to a high degree, after years of practice of course. ;) ;D

It looks so RIGHT!!  Would love to see it in Gull Grey/White, marked for VF-11, Red Rippers, say, about 1958 or so . . .

Or, Blue Angels??

I´m sure, will be great. But this plane is superb by itself.
