There are a couple of thingys in the house that could be turned into a whiffed thingy pretty decently.     Was in the middle of a gnarly business purchase last year and genuinely felt left out.

Dear Sirs...

I'll be happy to join this beautiful whiff-land tradition (as I say, adopt the local culture  ). But I have one question. Can we use some wreck of old models to turn them into great whiff ? Or might we use only models from the box ?

so, is there a date set yet, my guess is mid-august like every year 
anyway, i got tons of models in all different scales to enter,
im thinking of building that Australian Navy Buccaneer ive been planning of a long time

I'd also vote for the "Whiff what you want within a week" option. No special themes necessary.

Anything later than third week of July would be fine with me (semester break! Yay!).

i  would like to count my self in ,but what i have in mind means tearing down one build simply for the wings and starting fresh with the rest of it . am i still in?

Arkon, Slerski, you can use use parts of old models as raw materials, that's encouraged!  It doesn't have to be out of the box, but that's fine too.  If you're daredevil enough to do a complete scratchbuild, we'd like to see it!

The only real things that are 'out' are started & refurbished builds, i.e. a project that you're half way through, or simply re-painting an old model.  Using an old model as part of a kit bash to create something entirely new is fine.

I even have a little diorama idea which I think would fit perfectly.
