An instant Whif-in-a-box by the description:

FROG - RAAF / USAF BOEING B-47 STRATO - JET

Has to be, as no B-47 flew in RAAF colours, although the US did offer the B-47 as an "interim" bomber to replace the Canberra in RAAF service until the F-111 became available.  Two aircraft toured downunder as a bit of blatant politiking during the 1963 federal election but the type was complete unsuitable for RAAF use in reality.

That's about £61!  :o

Can't you still get new ones from Hasegawa, or are they even MORE expensive?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Is that a whif?   I wouldn't put it past the Soviets to come up with something like that.

Of course, now somebody will have to kit-bash a Hercules and a Chinook or two.
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

No, it was a genuine project.

They did, and the Ka-35 is/ was equally "whiffish".:
What if... I had a brain?

Dizzyfugu

Anyone know about THIS from Poland?

Looks nice, nevertheless!

The Wooksta!

I think Martin has built one.

Dizzyfugu

There's an 1:48 scratchbuilt one:

And some discussion about the aircraft, and the respctive kit from Poland:

And this one is probably the one you refer to?

Never heard of it before, but it looks nice/odd/interesting. Could imagine that a 4-tone cammo paint scheme and some ordnance could suit it well?

It looks like something from the Thunderbirds!

Dizzyfugu,

I picked one of those up and found it a rather well done little kit.  Nothing terribly fancy and definitely a "garage/ short run" rendering but rather crisply done for all that said.
