That's a real one! Not certain if it was actually built - IIRC there was a single prototype, but it was not successful. But it looks weird and elegant at the same time...

That's right - it may look like a What If but it was real. The prototype was completed in November 1939 and was test flown in 1940. According to Bill Gunston's "Encyclopedia of Russian Aircraft" the all round performance was outstanding but the DBLK was unable to displace the Il-4 in production.

I'd have been very tempted by this, despite the price but, fortunately, the listing has ended

Well spotted - I looked at this a couple of times, because the colour scheme made me wonder about converting a Comet into the Soviet Grigorovich DG-55, but I never noticed the badge on the nose - - -

The Corsair is neat....but it just looks wrong.

The Russian thing looks neat. Looks kinda like a Helldiver and an Avenger glued together to me

I actually have one of these.  The decals are quite nice and will certainly make for an eye catching F-106.

The same company also does "Thunderbird P-51 Mustangs" and those too look great.

I like how the 'pilots' are looking all over the place....like they don't really trust each other ! Mind you, the resulting crashes wouldn't be as horrific.....;-)
