Take one 1:72 Corsair and a Me262 in dito scale, chop, saw, hack, grind, tape and, hey presto:

Add bits, bops, and greebles. Never forget greebles:

Prime the thing, add propulsion system:

Think up some paintscheme, using whatever happens to be in the house, and start adding some decals:

Add more decals, add weapons system, weather the thing:

And there you have it: the Messerschmitt Me-F4 "Kampfadler", armed with two Rheinmetal AG "Großer Tümmler", made in their Swedish factory...

The plane will be the centrepoint in a small diorama. It will be placed on a beaching-contraption that I am now working on: the schwerer Schlepper "Schlammteufel" which will look a little like this:

Update when I have one...

A twin jet tail-less radial engined shaft drive pusher with FLOATS even?

You forgot the swing-wings though............  ;D

Mind blowing thought process, and build process too.  :drink:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

COOL!  Excellent kit bash. This looks similar to some of the Skycrawlers designs.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
