Amongst KP's new releases are these 4 boxings of the Grumman J4F/Gosling. Now considering they are new tools I may well pick one up if I see any at Telford. Always had a soft spot for the type.

Gondor

That's a new tool so hopefully far better than the old Airfix version.

That wouldn't be difficult, even when the Airfix one was new it was atrocious! The landing gear legs were so 'scale' they weren't strong enough to hold up the assembled model!  Mine had to have paper clip replacements after 2-3 months!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

FYI, Old Models Decals do 7 different NZ schemes for the Widgeon version...
I know I keep mentioning them, but I like to support a local manufacturer... in spite of all their faults... NOT affiliated with them, just a (mostly) satisfied customer. ;)

Good to know

I bought the Grumman Gosling kit with the Portugal, Israel and Tourist Air Travel markings at Telford last weekend.

A look in the box shows the kit to be of decent quality. The moulding is a bit hit and miss - there is minor flash on some windows where the moulds don't meet but that is easy to cut out and clean up. It's not quite as refined as a modern Airfix kit and the details feel a little simplified.
The interior detail is in there with a pilots yoke visible on one sprue. The clear parts seem ok.

Tonight I may do a dry fit of the parts and report back.

There's a 1/72 Spitfire HF.VII due out too, but I'll likely pass on that, given the sheer number of Ventura, CMR and AZ* kits already in the stash.  Converting an Eduard 8 is also a minimal task.

Mind, I am tempted with a pair of their new PR.XI and PR.X, as the MPM ones are woeful.  Plus the wing will fit a Sword 14 to do a really good early 19.

*It's an 8.  They didn't give all the necessary bits to do it as a 7.

Got one of each in the stash Lee, and they do look nice on the sprues.

I did get one of the XIs last year and it is best one yet.  And like I say, it would be a good basis for an early unpressurised 19.

Just in at Hannants.

Interestingly the PC-9/B Part 1 has obviously been a good seller as Hannants only had 2 left when I looked this morning. You cannot view this attachment. You cannot view this attachment. You cannot view this attachment. You cannot view this attachment.

It's a pretty machine. Lots of marking & colour options too.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Also, that boxing has one of the two airframes that wore UK roundels. One of the those machines later wore BAE house colours, which is on the box llid of one of the other kits. QinetiQ recently took delivery of several, they're not in a box but I imagine there'll be a an aftermarket decal sheet out in time.

Every day a school day, never knew QinetiQ had a German arm.

One of the things about KP/AZ is the number of markings options they offer when they bring out a new kit, not frightened to issue "What If" boxings either
