I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

KP has announced a few new releases on its facebook page.
the most definatly to get kit for me is the injection mould SIAI SF-260 Marchetti.

the 6 boxings are the SF-260D,N,W and the turboprop SF-260TP (parts 1 & 2).

im definatly getting the Belgian version, saves me a fortune on the old resin kits

on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

I like the look of the Z37.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I like the affordable Spitfire Tr9, but I doubt the RAF ever actually had any.

The Wooksta!

They didn't, although converted mk VIIIs were offered for the RAuxAF.  One built.  Then Vickers started converting mk IXs and sold them to Ireland, India, Holland and Egypt.  There were other interested parties and it was offered to quite a few.

Any two seaters with RAF markings are modern warbirds.

The painting/marking options explain all, Kit.  IIRC they're on the Hannants website.

They do indeed, thanks for the tip Dave.

I like the Poppy one.  ;D

But I think mine would be IAC, that green colour REALLY suits it.

I was looking  at the  sf  260's they have loads of potential as they started  life in the 1960's  so could be a  part of a south east Asian  counter insurgency fleet or a trainer  aircraft for the Fleet air arm/RAF. I am quite  tempted  with one.

A previous boxing provides Dutch and Irish options IIRC.

I've one of each of the previous box options,

And,

Actually, Lee pointed me in the direction of the 'Poppy' Tr.9, some time ago, so grabbed a couple for the stash.
It looks great in the poppy scheme, but, an absolute pita to apply, coz' they're individual poppys! :banghead:

Really want to nab a couple of the SF-260's.

The Wooksta!

Two seaters always seem to sell out really fast, it seems.  Even the russian UTI.

And even the later boxing Tr.9 goes for stupid money on ebay.

That's rather silly, the 'small size' airliner scale has been 1/200 for decades. Trying to re-invent the wheel is never a good idea unless you're someone as big as Tamiya.

I'm minded of Tamiya's F1 car kits, which are in 1/20 scale, despite the fact that the major market was in 1/24, but because they're so big it's now become the de facto F1 car model scale. :( And I bet that was for purely commercial reasons too.

But KP aren't that big, and the leader in 1/200 is Hasegawa, and they are!
