Is it a coincidence that the Soviet cargo aircraft  and RAF Transport Command both have white over grey often separated by a blue line or was it internationally agreed?

Dunno, but it gives me a reason to purchase another Antonov 124....

Reckon it's just coincidence. The Soviet scheme is just the old Aeroflot colours which, I assume, was used coz they had tons of those paints available! Probably also meant they could use the military transporters for civil cargo flights all over the world without everyone thinking they were being invaded! ;D

USAF C-5s and C-141s were white over grey with a blue cheat line for a while as well.
