....... some of us here can just about remember GCE O and A  levels way back in the last millenium.

Only too well! I took my last A levels 51 years ago!  ;D

Not quite that far back for Me... only in 1977 after failing my 11+ exam

Good grief, you lot are old. ;D

I did my A-levels (badly) in 2003, and again (slightly less badly) in 2005.

Very promising, giraffeboy - looking forward to seeing these done. Good luck with the exams, by the way.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

And what's wrong with that, pray?

It's said that age, experience and raw cunning will outwit youth, exuberance and enthusiasm every time.................  ;D ;)

I concur with this statement.......anyway, age is irrelevant unless it involves either cheese or single malt......but not the two together

Exactly sir and I find addding a twelve bore to the mix of age, experience and raw cunning  helps as well. It has been noted in passing that the older members of the SIG when gathered at a show come up with the most outlandish ideas - or is that just me and ad ?  :banghead:

This is a good thing?

You will find that as age increases, breadth of imagination does too........ and so does  breadth of waist for many of us.     The youthful "are we allowed to do that? "  is replaced by the more mature attitude of  "Why the h*** not?"........and a good thing too!........take Radish for example.

Best of luck with GCSE, some of us here can just about remember GCE O and A  levels way back in the last millenium.

I was in the last year to sit CSE's, GCE's ect (1987). We were told that if we needed resits we would have to do a one year GCSE course as they would not allow any resits using the "old" system. As a result I ended up with 1 GCE, 5 CSE's, 2 GCSE's and a City & Guilds.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Just found this thread and am very impressed with the artwork and especially the standard of build in that Concorde!! Really looking forward to seeing it finished. As for educational qualifications I fall into the O Level and CSE generation and ended up with a clutch of both. I think I took the last of my O levels in June '84......
