Anyone looked at these guys from NZ?

http://www.jaysmodelkits.com/jaysmk/

I am very tempted by their 1/48 Nakajima Kikka.

I also note some 1/72 Spitfires/Seafires and a 1/72 Tempest Mk I conversion that might interest some of you.

Brought a few of there tempest conversions a few months back. From NZ to the UK in just over a week after placing the order. Better service than some name less home grown traders.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

What is the quality of the kit like?

not to bad. looks like they use low pressure injection molding judging by the size of the spru gates. clean moldings, little to no flash. looking forward to using them.

Without a doubt - I have the Ventura issue of that same Tempest conversion.

You are correct Alun, they have all the Ventura moulds

The Wooksta!

The Tempest will not fit the Academy kit - I know, I've tried.

The Jays stuff is all available on ebay too.
