HM Customs not only THINK they are a law unto themselves, they really ARE, sad to say.  :banghead:

Come the revolution and all such running dogs will be swept away, you mark my words......

Best one I heard was a guy who was touring Central America by motorbike when he heard his father had died. He arranged to ship his bike home by sea, then flew back to sort everything out. Trouble was, he was in Columbia when it happened...  HM Customs and Excise drilled over 200 holes in his bike, including in the frame, fuel tank, oil tank and engine trying to find the drugs they presumed were there (but wern't) and then offered him £500 (the bike had been worth about £4000) in compensation. Despite pursuing it every way he possibly could, all he got was the £500 - by law, that's all they have to give you, no matter how much damage they do to your property when searching it.... :banghead:

SR53 kits leave Hong kong tomorrow, phew looks like I have a new kit for Telford, and of course I have a nice conversion currently with Paul Lucas for those who like a bit of Counter-Factual Classic British jet action thanks to Thorvic's brochure.....all will be revealed soon.

PR19_Kit

'Counter-Factual Classic British jet action'?

I rather like the sound of that.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

What's the price on the SR.53 Colin?

Needless to say really, but could you set one aside for me? Collect at Telford?

Oh, and you can pencil me in for one of the "You Know What" conversions when they are available....

Duncan

I expect the SR.53 to be no more than £35 (probably no less to!). I should have plenty but will put one of each aside for you Duncan.

An Airfix kit that surely ISN'T!  ;D

Looks SO much better than the older offering, very nice indeed.

Mmm, looks a great deal leaner, as if its been on a diet.

Now, if Freightdog was to do a SR.187, we'd have almost a complete set of rocket fighters...
