We know what this really is.  We are the vanguard against Canadian invasion which is meant to be revenge for the War of 1812.

I know exactly what you mean, living only 8 miles from the border with Wales as I do............  ;) ;D

I've always advocated the re digging of Offa's dike as a natural deterrant....

I'm with you there, it runs about 5 miles south west of me!

I'll have to keep an eye out for all those Gatsos when I visit next year.

Is the current Vauxhall Corsa any Corsa than the last ?  I didn't think they could get any corsa than they already were.

Ive been to Hell in Norway ... and it WAS frozen over !!

Unfortunately you can't say "We will fight the Canadians in Hell!" (that would mean a serious loss of territory).

I thought Hell was in Texas which would be a serious loss of territory

As I understand it, because of its proximity to the Great Lakes, Hell freezes over in the winter.  This means you can actually throw snowballs in Hell. SUpposedly there is also some bar in town where you can have a shot of your favorite alcohol- i.e. a shot in hell.  You get to keep the glass as a souvenir.

I've been to Hell in Grand Cayman - Milenium New Years day - the way I felt it was approriately named  :banghead:

Starngely the only banks I saw were when I swam with the sting rays on the "sand banks". Great way to cure a hangover  ;D

Mmm, interesting way with the words on that T-Shirt.  I'd have suggested, "Michigan - First line of defence against the Canadians".  ;D

I agree.  No one ever said we spoke proper English up here.  We're basically one lost "g" from the suffix "-ing" from being Southerners.   ;D

No, you have your own charming accent. "O" is replaced by a long "A", as in "Hahckey". Super easy to spot the kids coming over to drink between the ages of 19-21...

Really helped when I was a bouncer.

Those are those brats from the Pointes, as the rest of Michigan pronounces it in the proper Canuck way.  The Pointes are wannabe New Englanders.

And as for the "Fight Canucks in Hell" thing, we, in Michigan, do indeed have a Hell of our own.  Hell in Michigan experiences the full extent of seasons here, but to a lesser extent in the Winter since it's in the Middle of the Mitten!!!!  Winter in Hell is nothing compared to Grand Rapids, Escanaba, Marquette, Houghtan, Petoskey, Bad Axe, or Oscoda.

Bah, we're not so a-scared of you now that your two SAC bases are closed. Sure, Wurtsmith and Sawyer were worrisome, but one's a municipal airport and the other's a cargo hub for Kalitta.

747-200Fs are not nearly as frightening as B-52Gs.
