Finally!!! Its almost done! The main building work has been done, and the second coat of primer is on. Still a couple of areas need work , but I thought I'd post a few pics :

(Btw, i modeled the nose and tail on the prototype concorde)

Looking good - what scale?

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

Gondor

Looks like the Airfix 1/72 scale kit to me

Nice work done on it as well

Very interesting and awesome developement.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks guys :) Yes, its 1/72 , which means its bl***y huge!!!!! Once i've tidied up a few bits, i'll spray it a matt white, with a black cone on the nose. Its based on this image:

Oh, and btw, where would you put a refueling boom? it's proving frustratingly difficult deciding where to put it :S

Personally, my thoughts is it wouldn't be an exposed boom, it would be retractable seeing as the aircraft it supersonic (x2)

Nice job!

I'd put the boom on the side of the fuselage, behind the cockpit. As Kitnut says, it'd be hidden behind a flush panel.

giraffeboy

Thanks :) If i add a sort of panel, i won't have to model the actual boom, which is good :) here are some more pics, with the extra bits temporarily fixed on :

Bombcorde next to my other concorde that i built when i was alot younger, and i am glad to say that my modeling skills have improved a lot since then ! ;) Oh and here's my 1/200 doyusha prototype Concorde :)

Here's a bluesteel, with a scratchbuilt "bluesteel mk 2 "

That's definitely looking really neat --

For your refueling boom panel, I would have a look how it's done on the Typhoon.  It doesn't have to be a very big panel at all.

I had a look on Google images, and i now know what you mean :) i think i have a harrier that has one, so i'll borrow it from that ;)

Oh, by the way, the bulges on the wings are extra engine inlets. I figured that the extra airlflow would help at take off and subsonic speeds :) Oh, and rolls royce were planning a bigger engine for the "b" version concorde, with thrust increased from 32,000(without reheat) to 41,000, so in my "what if world" my bombcorde would be powered by the larger engine. However, this would have required a bigger nacelle. So, at somepoint, I'll have to do some scratchbuilding... great.... ;)

The Lightning was Mach 2+ and had a very very exposed boom.......

.......as did the F104 Starfighter

Yeah! that's right, it did (bit of an after thought though wasn't it)  --- I got the impression that GB was going to do something like an E-3D type boom which I don't think would look very good on a sleek Concorde shape, plus there's plenty of room in the fuselage for a retractable one.
