........? What if Boeing were a British company and Avro were American???

Well, perhaps we may have seen these in the mid to late 50`s...??

First up a SAC Vulcan...., or would this have been called the Strato Jet??

Next a 617 Sqn Strike Command Strato Jet..., or would this have been called the Vulcan..??

And lastly, all three of my early cold war bomber Whif`s together including the Soviet Tu-90.

Thanks for looking.

Awesome triplets!!!! Where do you store them?

Well done!

It's interesting to see them side by side, shows the different approaches used e.g. in cockpit design, engine placement, wings.

A simple idea carried out brilliantly!

wonder if the Vulcan could be sneaked onto the USAF sig stand at Telford. And the B-47 onto the Bomber Command sig

lovely looking, and i second our glorious leadrs suggestion
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.

I made no suggestion, merely pondered on the feasibility of such events  ;D

Those three are outstanding!

I especially like the SAC Vulcan, and I bet a few participants in various Giant Voice and Red Flag competitions wishes it had happened.....
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
