Just saw this on Hyperscale ...

"There's a new model club just outside Durham City UK. If anyones interested it's at the premises of; models4hobby, Durham Business Center, Littleburn Road, Langley Moor Durham DH7 8HG Anytime between 6 and 9pm. First Thursday of the month, so that's tomorrow. If you need directions contact me, paulkirsopp@aol.com "

Can someone drag them down our dark alley before they start building real-world stuff ?

Aircav will probably be involved with that new club

Oooer, by a strange co-incidence I'm staying in Newton Aycliffe tonight and tomorrow!

I wonder if I should take the PR19 up there to 'educate' them?  ;D

It's the club Steve (Aircav) and his mate Paul started.

I did, and was suitably BOGGLED by the size of Models4Hobby's stock room. It's like a mini-Hannants hangar in there! And not that mini either.

There were half a dozen of us there and one of the figure modellers was doing a teach-in on how to paint faces. It's not really my thing, but some of his amazing techniques could be used to paint instrument panels etc.

They were equallly boggled by the PR19 and MB8 I'm pleased to say.  ;D
