Records show that the aircraft flew successfully and carried out numerous missions without being intercepted. Unofficial records indicate that the aircraft was easily capable of exceeding 50,000ft and there are claims that it was even capable of exceeding 60,000ft..
Unfortunately the final fate of the aircraft is not known.

The last time it was seen (with a telescope) was almost halfway to the moon (at altitude 60,000 miles). Maybe it landed there, decades before Apollo...
