Australian Army Aviation Apache Longbow

Hi all

Just joined the group!

Thought I'd post a couple of pics of a recent build. I've always liked the Apache and thought it would look pretty formidable in Australian Army camo scheme.

I was disappointed when the Australian government decided to purchase the ARH Tiger rather than the Apache

It's a 1/48 Academy kit built OOB, airbrushed with acrylics and weathered with chalk pastels. The decals were from the kit and my spares box.

Nice chopper. Bit big for what the Oz Army needed, though. As it was, they got a reasonable compromise.
