Either two carriers worth of F-35C, F-18E/Rafales, EA-18G Growlers and Hawkeyes in retro 1970s FAA colours (can I count that as one whif ;D) or a squadron of B-1Bs for the RAF.

Way to go, James. It's nice to keep modest ambitions!!  ;D ;D ;D

Hard to decide, but: CANZUK Union taking place in 1950 with the "Reformed British Empire" retaining preeminence post-WW2.

(That'd make SO many whiffies possible all in one bag!  )

I'd love to see my F-106G Delta Dart II/F-38 Phoenix in squadron and export service...or next-gen Balaos or Gatos, with deck guns, in service with the USN...or turboprop Skyraiders...or Dale Brown's F-15F Cheetah...

Or my winning both high dollar amount Powerball and MegaMillions, buying an island and declaring my own sovereign nation.  Ain't that a whiff if I ever heard it

Hypersonic airliner, London to Sydney in 4 hours, quicker than it'd take for me to get from my house & board the plane.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Fulcrum

The multi-role Mig-29M finishing all it's tests & entering service with a respectable amount of air forces.

Flashy would be converting a battleship into your own private yacht. I wonder if the Americans would like to sell one.

Actually, there's a frigate (Kortenaer class) being converted into a yacht: http://www.charterworld.com/news/swift-141-abu-dhabi-mars-frigate-transformation

The Wooksta!

I'd rather convert an aircraft carrier.  More room and I can have a private jet too, as well as several helicopters.

A similar idea is on my 'to do' list. I was thinking of a floating resort, with a helipad, pools, mini-golf, etc.

The Wooksta!

I was toying with it as a floating nightclub moored off Ibiza.  Plenty of room in the hangars and the flight deck would make a fantastic terrace.
