While the B-51 design was successful, the Boeing designers were plagued by the shorter range and small load storage when meeting SAC requirements. The follow on craft, the B-52 Stratowing was to become a long serving strategic presence, outliving crewmembers and even a few of their Sons and Daughters.

It was also significant in being the last strictly swept design (leading and trailing edge) large flying wing built. Further developments would all become delta or BWB or stealthy rhomboids.

Model is plastic using a 777 wing, Corgi B-52 engines and "drop" tanks, F-105 Thunderchief fuselage (yup, its a 9 engine wing, the J-75 is still in it).

And besides some diorama table shots, some photo-combos with skyscapes - crude, my earlier photoplaying with PS.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
