Inspired by a profile done for me a few years ago by the most excellent Maverick. Can't find the original image, unfortunately, but this is very much based on it.

Revell (Matchbox) kit, floats from a UC-64 Norseman (again ex-Matchbox), struts from the 'Fish undercarriage and plastic stock, markings from an An-2. Looking at the photos, I think it needs beating up a bit, but other than that it's done. :) The links go to slightly larger pics, as well as the rest of my Flickr album.

...and those floats look LOADS better than the RW Swordfish floats. They always look far too thin and undernourished to support the aircraft to me, whereas yours are SERIOUS floats.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Nice, "clean" job!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Beauty rendition of one of my favourite aeroplanes. Nice work ! I do agree tho, it could use a little bit of a beat up. Drop 'er by my place and I'll fly 'er around the basement for a few days....ought to do the trick ! Besides, I need some practice on my water landings !

Great stuff.

Most excellent build.  Great to see the picture in plastic as it were.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Beautiful!

.... & what is wrong, I ask, with recent maintenance & a fresh paint job?

Oh, that is pretty.

For some reason I really like their nationality colors together.
