Just thought I'd try and bring a little sanity back to this thread and reiterate its origional purpose (and I'm as bad as anyone  :banghead:)

If there's anyone out there who wants to pop along and say hello please do. We do not eat people and suprisingly, especially given the nature of this thead, are a fairly quiet bunch normally, especially when in public. We take our hobby seriously but we have FUN. When I first met the bunch I was given a very warm wellcome indeed.

So to re-iterate ignore the banter on this thread and come along and say hi and join in the exchange of ideas that seems to take up the majority of the conversation.

We are in Hall 2, stand 149, quite near Wonderland Models

....and we'll be the crew that are hunting for ducks.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Although I'll be at SMW/Telford/The Nationals.....all the same event, I have now moved to Narnia. I've spoken to the Big Ginger Pussy that controls things there (he like ducks!) and he loves plastic modelling and very loud music. Especially heavy metal.
Narses is a very nice chap, and I can re-it....re-tili....re-illat.....repeat that we're all veryt friendly, welcoming, etc., and that I only bite at night.....that's when I'll drink your blood.....

I find the feathers a tad indigestible in a duck sandwich...

...they struggle too much as well..

I've never seen feathers that struggle  :drink:

Completely concur - and yes I am as guilty as anybody for prolonging the "banter" - When I joined this bunch about five years back, I was made very welcome, immediately, if I was being prosaic, I would say I found my 'spiritual home' in the world of scale modelling. So please, if you've not met the gang before, then come along and say hello, we're easy to spot, it's the table with the rubber chicken/duck and some Twiglets displayed prominently.

Look forward to meeting you in about TWO weeks.
