As initial models P-80 shows the square wing tips, I made more  wing dihedral . The scheme show a plane in 1945. The plane is the lindberg 1/48 but with new panels lines.

I hope you enjoy it.

Nice build.

It's amazing how different such a small change makes - nice
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Which is what we're here for of course.  ;D ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Great work on the panel lines and paint!  Is that the kit canopy? did you mnodify the canopy?

Warning!!! JMN comment follows: USAF was not until 1947.  In 1945 it would be USAAF.

Yes, Saxophiles who drool over Me-262's may forget that we had P-80's on the ground in Italy (just not in combat---YET!) near the end of the war. In a 262-vs-P-80 contest, my money would go on the P-80.

Nice job.

>In 1945 it would be USAAF.<

Yeah, can you stick another "A" in there somewhere?
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

If we want to get really JMN'y, it wouldn't have had any USAAF/USAF on it at all, at least any of my USA models from that time didn't
