Well this years Glasgow show did not have a huge number of the SIG members attending, there was OGL, THE Wooksta, TsrJoe, Gondor, and myself. However I do feel that we did put on a decent show for the paying public, and we did get a lot of positive response from them.
There was not much new in the way of What if models to take photo's of but here are the photo's that I took.

First some shots I took of the SIG stand with OGL pontificating to some viewers.

Three definite WhIfs

Well maybe not the last one!

Other stuff

Not a WhIf but renegade Resin's conversion for the Airfix Westland Whirlwind with the heavy cannon nose.

Some Sci-Fi stuff

Is this a WhIf?

And this?

Hi Greg,

I believe it was produced by one of the Glasgow IPMS guys. It depicts the first prototype and is 1/72 scale. I think it was done by Geof Crowe but I will let you all know if I find out anything else.

What's the story on the Triple-Dak?

Tophe will be in heaven seeing that!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hey Kit:

Thanks for sharing.

In the 5th picture, I see at the bottom a Lighting F.6 with dual fuel tanks on top the wing. Do you have any add`l details on this model?

That place is a dream to me, I love that three engine C-47. In my country, the wiffers are a tiny minority, and on my island, that minority comes down to me. Do you understand me, when I said that place is a dream to me?

Carl,

the twin tanks on the top of the Lightning's wings are the MATRA combined rocket pod/tanks. Rocket pod front fuel tank behind  damn silly idea if you ask me.

All,

the three fuselage C-47, the twin fuselage one, and the tri-motor one were all built by OGL and are based on patent drawings held by the Douglas Aircraft corporation. With enough presure from the forum he might be persuaded to build the other one that there is a patent drawing for  -----------------------------------------------------------------------  the FIVE fuselage version.
