Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

Since I love to create What-Ifs I think it would be a great topic for one of the shows. Who's out there willing to be a guest to represent the WIFFers?

Wish I still travelled to the US, that would be LOADS of fun!  ;D

Hmmmm, it wouldn't be the first time I've done a radio show about modelling.....

When Britain had the 3 day week in the 70s and the TV was only on for short periods, Radio Derby ran a show on a Saturday morning about 'Fringe Activities' and one was a show all about modelling. We had many of the local model clubs set up stands in the radio station's car park, and I got the nod to do the co-host's job with the DJ who ran it, I think his name was Al Kay.

How come I can STILL remember that from all those years ago?  ;D

What a riot!  I would have never thought scale modeling hits radio as a show!     to you!

Looking at having the show on December 29th being exclusively for What-If Modeling. So any of you going to volunteer to be a guest? How many think they'll call in?

You can call in via Skype or participate in the Live Chat during the show.

I'll be mentioning this forum as the place to go for Whiffers!

Looks as if I'm going to be bumping What-If to another night. The show on Dec 29th has been changed to one about Airbrushing...and our guest will be Raymond from Grex.

This will give one of you a chance to step up and volunteer for another night in January to be my guest.

If I can figure out how to get Skype working on my system I guess I'd be up for it, having 'been there and done that' before.

But what about the language difficulty? Would I have to put on a Minnesota accent, which I can do apparently.......?

I promise not to mention longer wings more than twice. Well, maybe four or five times anyway.  ;) ;D

Shall one of us ring in and play the disapproving JMN, casitgating you for even mentioning stuff that's not "accurate"?

Hehehe, the normal 'Joe Publics' would NEVER understand that!

Well if you keep the "Ya der hey" and "Uff da" down to once or twice during the show, I think you'd make an acceptable guest. Oh and no theme music from the movie Fargo either!

Drop me a note to work out the details. Also make sure you have the latest version of Skype, its easy to download at Skype.com

Once you get it figured out and working you can always Skype me at Hawkeyeshobbies.
