True that :/

Mind you my collection seems to be leaning toward the bigger scale just lately... Im sure getting older and eyesight getting worse has NOTHING to do with it

And an equal shame they don't do it in 1/72.  :banghead:

Sticky Fingers

How's this for whif related boxart?

It's the official boxart for Trumpeter's M1129 Stryker Mortar Carrier.

With a Big donkey Robot in the background.

Is that a huge squeeze-bulb horn hanging on the side of the nose?

You'd have though they'd have had enough spare power for an electrical one, plus I don't fancy leaning out under fire to honk it....... ;)

Lol, ROTFLMAO.

I think its just an air horn, similar to what is on locomotives and big trucks. Not a bulb but a Air valve.

Are those Soldiers in the Strykers fighting alongside the Decepticons ! ? With that big Death star in the background? That is some serious whiffery going on!

This one from Frog has been a favourite of mine ever since I got my first one in 1988:

The later Frog boxings in white (and there are two which look almost identical but there are differences) have similar artwork but it's a lot cruder and the later artwork was used for the Novo box.  The vast majority of Russian produced Hornet kits come bagged but there was at least one boxing and I picked it up at Telford.  I would have bought it anyway but did appreciate the novelty value, so I may just add it to the collection rather than build it.

One of the good things about Frog paint guides is that the colours were all what they were, rather than being tied to a specific manufacturer's paints.  The Hornet comes in Med Sea Grey and PRU Blue on the back.

Not so much a problem with the artwork or even the title on the box but rather the interpretation that the seller placed on the wording:

Ooooh the Sealand! I'd LOVE one of those now, I think that's the only time it's ever been kitted, hasn't it?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
