Ok, we have a thread for the worst going strong but what about the best.  Maybe the boxart was what got you to buy the kit in the first place.  Pretty sure I will see a lot of Airfix stuff showing up (and I remember some good ones) and some Hasagawa but what else do you guys and gals like?

I love the B-17 so some of these from Revell have caught my eye:

I detect a slight bias there for the B-17....  ;D

I did like the boxart on the Revell E.555 flying wing, ready to bomb New York

I've always been quite partial to Matchbox's art for the Victor:

Revell in the 60's had some classic box art, like the B-26 "flak-bait" and the B-29 as well as the Memphis Belle you have here. Hasegawa has had some of the best for a long while. The art that accompanied the Waterline 1/700 ships was really good too.

Almost everything by Shigeo Koike and from the Golden Age of Airfix, Roy Cross's Boston, P-61, Sunderland, Wellington (the one running from the Messerschmitts at low level), and of course the B-29 all demand to in an art gallery somewhere !!

Only thing missing from that one is the P-80's.

I think this one, of the upcoming new Airfix Gnat is an absolute stunner:

Wow, that makes the Gnat looks as big as a 747!

The pilot isn't a very good shot, is he?  He's dropping well after he's passed the target.  ;D

His lead already hit the bridge. He's going for the pontoon bridge set-up slightly upstream in regard of a possibly attack on the actual bridge.
Looking at the octagonal towers, this was probably inspired by the bridge at Remagen, which was actually attacked by Ar 234s. They weren't successful either.
