I had dinner with the publisher last month in Canberra.  He was surprised to find that I had an ancestor who had fought in the Maori wars.  After some questioning he said that he was mentioned in the book and lo and behold, he was.  Has a paragraph all his own.   He was my great, great Grandfather on my mother's side.  Born in the West Indies, travelled to Australia, served in Western Australia, went to the Maori Wars as a volunteer and then returned to Oz.   Its a good book.
