Always bothered me, which broke Grumman Navy tradition with the arrival of the North American. That is the cause of my creation, using the elements of a Hellcat. Everything is made at 1 / 48.

I hope you like.

Quite a plausible looking bird.  Although being a Grumman product, it would have to be a 'Cat' of some description.

Well, I thought about it, and wanted to call it "Jerrycat", but as the fuselage is the 1/48 scale matchbox Fury ... I thought it was the Subtitute of the North American Fury, and being in the same place, I kept the name.

Maverick

Fair enough too Pablo, your whiff after all.

Very good idea, very well done.

I love classic jets; particulary those of Navy after the end of WWII, to Korean war; the NA Fury too.

Do you remember the pioneer; the Mcdonnell Phantom FH-1?.

You could have called it the Madcat (fury > furious = angry = mad) ;)

Or the Wildcat II?

Well since it's based on a Fury, the natural name would be Furrycat... oh hang on a minute..... ;)

Nice one Pablo - it looks great!

Could be, I blame advancing years for any slip-up like that. Thank you for the correction young man.
