I now have an Airfix Fiat G.91 thanks to Thorvic, so I will follow the P.1111 with that to replace the Red Arrows Gnat. If I can get another G.91, I might attempt the two-seater version since I have an aftermarket canopy for it, but I won't endanger the single-seater to do so, since the conversion is NOT straight-forward (fuselage stretch) and the the canopy is apparently made from real lexan rather that polystyrene, given how thick and hard it is...

OGL, I mentioned somewhere else that my delta JP6 in 230 OCU colours, in build now, would do as a swap for the 707C.

right, as far as the TSR-2 replacement goes. I am talking the Project canceled boys about getting them involved with some of the R & D projects. One of Geoff's OR339 scratchbuilds is quite likely, althou I like the idea of a "canceled" F-111K if some one wants to claim that.

For the Bristol 188, General Melchet's big hypersonic scratch build is an ideal shoe in.
But we need "replacements" for the Faiery Delta II, Prone Meteor, Avro 707, Hunting H126, The ejector seat testbed meteor, SARO SR-53 and the Shorts SB-5. And the Gnat F-1.

then we have the 2nd hanger to contend with................... every thing in there is up for grabs

I have a 'Swiss Venom' and an 'Ohka' replacement on the go and had considered a fixed-wing Tornado.  If I can find a PM Mirage V then a spoof Fairey Delta can be thrown together.  I have a Matchbox Gnat T1 which will become fairly redundant once the Airfix kit comes out and can simply painting it up as the F1.  Ideally I'd like to do an 'I couldn't find/afford an Airfix/Freightdog SR53 so I built my own' - inspired by the SMW2011 Angel Interceptor and using an old Airfix Skyhawk, only difficulty is a lack of Skyhawk!  Maybe one will turn up at Milton Keynes.

Project D

I've got my Lightning RF.63 to take place one of the Lightning prototypes if needed and maybe 3 other Lightnings too?

I've pulled the box out tonight, and re-familiarised myself with the build, it seems fairly simple, so if you want it in the display, I'm happy to do it

Bears, woods and bowl movements spring to mind here.

It and your self would be more than welcome Duncan.

Dave, your fixed wing Tonka is ideal, and a few of your 1940's fighters would suit replacing the Spit 1 and Hurri. Im still wondering how to shoe horn your twin Battle and piston meatbox in to the mix.

I will try and draw up a list of offers/commitments and vacancies over the weekend

Gondor

Progers is being made on My Lancaster Mk XL Martin, slow but progress. I hope to finish it in time but better have something else on standby just to be safe.

Wouldn't the Twin Battle replace the Mossie in the other hall?

Suggestion (sorry if this treads on any toes: havn't got time to re-read the whole thread):

Why not "swap" the Me-410 and the Pucara?

Me-410 gets the nosewheel u/c and engine pods from the Pucara and an Argentine paint job "as captured in the Falklands".

Pucara gets a tailwheel and the Me-410's DB-601s and a late-war Lufwaffe scheme.
