I'm getting around the cockpit time delay problem by doing it "gutted": just a pair of seat rails. The idea is that the unused aircraft kicked around for a while and got used as a donor for other projects, before being saved from the scrapheap for the museum.

Aargh... the gloss white paint is still sticky to the touch. Was hoping to get the first coat of red on this morning but it'll have to wait till tonight or even tomorrow.

Thinking of space, why didn't we include the UK's first Lunar Module? Or would that go to Hendon? 

Hendon's the older stuff which is why I prefer it. The Lunar Module would go to Cosford

The main gate will be open from 8am, and the place opens to joe public at 10am........so a 2 hour window for set up  gents
