Another idea - they've got a Gnat havn't they? Why not "replace" it with a Fiat G-91R3 in RAF colours, the story being that Britain accepted the result of the NATO Lightweight Fighter competition and bought Ginas to replace the Venoms in the ground attack role. They'd still have Orpheus engines, they could have Aden cannons instead of DEFAs and the airframes could even be built under licence by Follands (once Teddy Petter had stormed out), or Shorts (if the government made a political "jobs" decision).

I like that idea......"Ginas" in RAF colours.
Ideal for a 112 Sqn Sharkmouth as well.....

Or better still, do a single seater Gnat in Red Arrows colours and a twin seater in camouflage?

I was thinking about the Gnats at Cosford but just couldn't quite work out what to do with them.... Good thinking that man!

Yes, you guessed it, live 1944 explosive filling! The beast was very gently lifted onto an RAF 'Queen Mary' low loader, using a much larger civvy crane (I often wonder what, if anything, they told the crane driver),

They would have invoked the Official Secrets act and said nothing, mind you back then Health and Safety didn't exist
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Swap the T.1 for an Alphajet...  :-X

Replace the Andover with an Airfix Fokker freinship in Queens Flight colours?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wash your mouth out you foul degenerate being from the dark dimensions, at least darker than this forum!

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Job done!    I only mentioned the F27 because I couldn't think of anything German!!!

A VFW 614? That's bizarre enough, but I'm not sure Her Majesty would deign to board such an oddity.  ;D

I had a vacform one umpteen years ago but it's long gone now.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

You could always do a Red Arrows Gina of course....

Does anyone make a kit of the two-seat G-91? You make one out of a single-seater of course, but it's not as straight-forward as a canopy swap (fuselage stretch for one thing....)

Quite like an all-white F-111....

Queen's Flight?..a Ju-52 would look nice.
Or perhaps "mis-interprate" "Queen's Flight" and paint "whatever" PINK?? With flowers?feathers?

They've got the front end of a Bucc on a trailer, so you could "cheat" by putting the escape capsule from an Airfix F-111 on one instead and claiming it as an "F-111K".....

Right I now have a complete set of the hanger floor plans, courtesy of IPMS Shropshire :)

This is now beginning to look like a very viable display.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

I see they have a Meteor NF.14. Why not replace it with either:

1. Avro CF-100 with RAF markings and Firestreaks,

2. Meteor NF.17(or whatever): Matchbox NF Meteor with the longest "wrong" nose and two big, square-winged missiles on the wingtips, like the real F.8 that was used for early (Folland) Red Dean trials.
