Gondor

Meteor F2 has been repaired and is ready to be picked up by Jay Bee at a reasonable time of his choosing.

Hoping to get at least one more model finished in time. Harrier F/A 3 is available for the show as is anything else I have finished.

final paper work has arrived.
We are located along side the FD2......exactly where I asked for ;D

The bad news (for them) is the uber JMN's other wise known as the quater scale group are facing us and the Classic British kit sig are out of the way next to the QSG.
I always hope for the best.

Spotted that QSG are opposite you.....please don't assume they're all uber-JMNs though. Brian Payne has done terrific 1/48th Typhoon (Bae with 60lb rockets and invasion stripes) and WW2 coloured A-7E with appropriate Iron Bombs. And Marriott won the Gold at Telford SMW2000 with a scratchbuilt spaceship. Smeders has done a 1/48th TSR2 in Sky/Grey RN colours, as well as an RAF RESCUE YELLOW V-22 "Osprey".
Looking forward to theshow IMMENSELY ;) ;D ;D

The "best" was when they did a post-war Fleet Air Arm display....I have a couple of that display (Sea Fury from Operation Firedog, and a Corsair IV from 1946) at Yeovilton,in The Historic Flight display cabinet.
Meanwhile, I did an RN F-35 which garnered lots of attention. Probably REALLY What If? now too. ;D

At Cosford, friend (and Stafford member) Dick Howells will be disposing of his stash under the banner "Selling The Family Kit Collection".
I bought a Clunk from him (for Biggles) at Hinckley.
Expect to see a host of ESCI (F-5s, F-4s, A-4s, F-111s,etc), Fujimi (A-4s, F-4s, A-7s, etc), Revell/Monogram (F-105s, Tigercats!!!!, etc....) and much much more. All in excellent condition and good prices.
I'm taking a bundle of cash!!

last night I got a sneak preview of Kits main entry for operation Cosford.

Kit had been invited by a friend of his to give a talk about what if modelling to the Northants scale model club. Who meet in the next village along from were I live.
Altou im not a member of the above club, Kit asked me to go along and help fill some gaps he had identified in the little display he put on as well.
He had with him some work in progress models, including a pair of new PR-19's...............................

The few images I took are not great on quality, the lighting wasnt great and I was useing my Blackberry.

The PR-19B, the final version as displayed at the RAFM Cosford  ;D

Compared to Kit's original PR-19 model this is a monster. its wing span has increased by at least 2inches/5cm.

next up is the original version of the PR-19 as per kits back story. (the very first and imfamous model is the PR-19A)

so we will soon have a line up of PR-19s for the sig stand

Nice one Kit!

And of course, if there's more than one model of a subject, then it "must" be real, mustn't it?

It seems the CIA reckoned it was in THIS universe at one stage!  ;D

And when you're headed down to the SW in your DB7 GT can I have a ride please?  ;)
