It's one of at least four configurations
trialed. All of them had issues and none resulted in a production version as they were all various levels of craptastic. In none of the photos I've seen is the test vehicle armed.
A production, in service version would
definitely be a whif.
;D

They would probably have been better off converting Kubels, and Beetles, into aerosans.

It wasn't the greatest of ideas  ..a vehicle with like 20hp is always going to struggle when you add the much extra weight before adding anything else.
Now a KubelWagen as a aerosan is a brilliant idea     ;D

Who's going to be the first to fit this to a 1/35 Beetle or Kombi?
Or to the Airfix 1/32 Beach Buggy...

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Or a Scalextric Beetle...................  ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Going off the theme, I was thinking Bond Bug...
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
