F-35A Lighting II, Belgian Air Force

last month, our MoD once again expressed intrest in buying the F-35 as a succesor to the F-16.
personally i dont like the F-35, but it makes a nice what-if

model: Italeri 1/72 X-35, modified with external hardpoints from a mastercraft F-16 and oranance from the spares box.

I never liked the F-35. Just seems like a backwards step, as far as the V/STOL version goes.

I know it's a Whif, but I thought all F-35s weapons were carried internally, like F-22?

Other than that one point, nice Whif!

Hum... Not to sure about that! I believe the Belgian government will probably buy 36 second-hand Rafale. 24 will go to the Air Force and 12 to the "Roi Baudoin" aircraft carrier (previously know as "Charles de Gaulle" )
