Interesting.  Just when I've purchased a vacuform conversion!  Bugger!   :banghead:

Excellent news, I've been wanting an up-to-date tool F-106A for a long time.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

As predicted Meng had the sprues for their upcoming F-106 at Telford. Sadly I managed to forget the batteries of my camera needed recharging  :banghead: so couldn't take any pics, but it looks just as good as their F-102. The sprues seem a tad odd as it looks as if they supply some of the extra stuff for the 2 seat B version in the A kit, but the fuselage isn't moulded with a break at the nose joint, so the B version must have a whole new fuselage moulding.

At long last the Six fans will have something else to worship other than the rather ancient Hasegawa kit, and the Meng version looks very 'worshipable'.

With Trumpeter doing one as well, this is probably the only chance you'll ever have to compare an F-106 with a bus...

Nice. I'll have to check into both the 102 and the 106.

You know, you're right.  Getting over the initial   I'm now thinking  :o at the parts count.  I might go for the Trumpeter kit if it's simpler, but I've been bitten them in the past.

I was more interested in the MTANG markings.  Still have a set of Microscale ones waiting for me to do my Hasagawa kit.

Think that will be a long wait and will probably do a duel build when I get the new on.

There's a new 1:72 Gina in the pipeline for September, unfortunately with the same steep prices as the initial one:

Makes me wonder if this time they'll include PoAF markings... now that i already bought the other one... :banghead:

Gondor

A pity about the price, I would love to build a small fleet of them.

Yup, the Gina has potential.

And there are good news: this one will provide decals for an Italian, a German and a Portuguese machine! (check the small sublines  ;))

And there's official proof, too:

Yup, gave it a closer look just a few minutes ago on scalemates.
The decals were well chosen but too bad i already have a bunch of those and the same kit in the previous boxing so i'll probably only buy this if i really get the urge to spend money...
