Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yep, I can see that.
Mind you, the Swift isn't a movie star to begin with.  Nose is too short and the vertical tail looks like it needs more rudder.

;D I'm with you there, the Swift is ugly as it is, looks as if they assembled the nose section upside down... made even more horrendous with the huge cysts... i mean, belly tanks...  ;D and i'd move the vert tail back and make it bigger... maybe the horizontal stabs could be bigger and straightened out...

Swift not a movie star? How dare you Sir! The Sound Barrier from 1952. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0044446/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Saw it again two weeks ago on Talking Pictures (vintage movie channel here in the UK) they call it Prometheus in the film but it's an early Swift with more canopy framing than a production version. Some shots of Comets under construction too. Cone Of Silence pops up on there too starring the Avro Ashton six-engined test aircraft. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054762/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

OK.  Bad choice of words but you know what I mean.
I have plans for my Airfix Swift come the Soviet GB.

I had an Airfix G.91 when I was younger and thought it looked awesome! Swift? Bah!

No you are quite right zenrat, it ain't too pretty. I always thought it's nose was too short and not enough tail fin, makes it look out of proportion.

Had a quick look but couldn't see this set any where;

1/35 Hilux & Cruiser Pickup Set (2-Door Pickup + 4-Door Pickup)

from http://www.bnamodelworld.com/model-cars-motorcycles-parts-decals-meng-models-meng-vs007

Not new kits but you get the 2 kits in one box minus the weapons they come with in other boxings.

Unfortunately they only come in left-hand drive, which is annoying, especially as Japanese cars are naturally right-hand drive.

Anyone know of anyone doing RHD conversions for these kits?

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

zenrat

Wrong scale.  They'd be nice in 1/24.

As an armour modeller, 1/35th is the perfect scale for non-military vehicles - so I can put some of my armour in non-combat dio scenarios.

Takom do a Pajero, Meng do a Ford F350 & ICM (??) or MasterBox (??) do/did a BMW & a Mercedes in 1/35 but that's about it for non-miltary, non-WarPact vehicles, I think (although there's a bunch of 1/35th WW2 military VW Beetles which could be modded to not look too out of place with modern armour).
