An old Airfix  Typhoon Ib.  Not quite sure yet what it will eventually  be,  but it won't be a Typhoon Ib!!   It only cost £1.00,  so I can be adventurous with it  .

From ebay, all 1/144th scale:

Attack MiG-19PM
Attack MiG-19P
Eduard dual combo 2 x Mig-21bis

All for an affordable-scale version of a PW MiCh-12 diorama that I've had in mind for ages.

If anyone's interested in the Attack MiG-19s, they're good, but always get the PM version. The sprues are exactly the same, but the -PM includes all the bits to make a -P (including wing guns that you have to cut off to make a -P) whereas the -P has all the -PM bits cut off the sprues! Makes you wonder why they bother with two boxings really....

The Eduard MiG-21s are gorgeous: they'd be better than most if you pantographed them up to 1/72nd...  They also have a separate spine to enable different versions to be boxed, which is great for me, since it means it's easy to turn the leftovers into a 1/72nd scale missile once I've nicked the nose sections to graft onto the MiG-19s.

The Wooksta!

From Ebay:

CMK Spitfire mk 18.
Bought on spec, it's one of the older ones.  I'm praying it wasn't the master for the MPM mk 18, which was a complete abortion.

AZ Spitfire mk 9 "MTO" boxing.  Everything in one box to do any production mk 9 - spare blisters, tail planes, rudders.  Need a few more now - ie two of each boxing (and there's three so far...)  Plastic feels nice too.

AZ Spitfire mk VIII  - SEAC boxing

Rob Taurus Spitfire V canopy.  Intended for Tamiya kit, it's sectioned and the late version with the internal armour glass.

Pavla Fouga Magister canopies x 2.  Ideal for two seat Attackers.

From Stratford upon Avon today, as Mid had wanted to test the new Satnav and buy some tickets (for her, not me).
I bought some Oxford Diecasts, mostly 1/76th, some Meerkat Pups, and a Revell 1/72nd Vampire and a 1/350th U-Boat.

Due to my limited income (or lack thereof) my stash is holding steady. I have enough to keep me very busy for a good while.
But then I see some of the (genuinely) new releases and feel the need to aquire further material.
"Just which planet are you from again"?

The Wooksta!

Two more Spitfires from Ebay:

AZ mk 7 - this is the second as I try to get two of each new release so I've a spare decal sheet for use in The Plan

Special Hobby F21 Post War boxing.  Ditto, although I'm quite happy to get a few more of these for the spare props, rudders, rockets, etc.
