If you find the fuselage has any flaws you can just carve a new one out of a grain of rice.  ;D

Or use a drop tank from a 1/144 SHAR perhaps?  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Russians were interested in the Vampire and IIRC wanted the Nene engined ones with the early F1/F3 wing

Commie Nene Vampires, interesting & I've got plenty of Russian stars.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Heritage do Vampire F1/F3 wingtips (I've got a set somewhere but can't find them...) but TBH, you could fashion them pretty easily from plastic card.

Just delivered, a Supermodel CANT Z.506B "Airone" - tri-motor floatplane!

Not sure what to do with it yet, but I love these wacky 30s boats so I jumped at it (sold over on Britmodeller). It might be pirate-ised, or become a land-based bomber and donate the floats to something else (B-17? ) or maybe a turbo-propped version a la Dornier 24ATT...
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Lee, a rough calculation tells me that you now have approximately twice as many Spitfires as were produced by Supermarine.  ;D
