#1 son was nice today when we stopped in to a local shop. Courtesy of his wallet I walked out with another AMT Star Trek shuttlecraft, just $10 because there are no instructions. Already got them anyway. Rheged was asking for one in British Airways livery, so if I can pick up some suitable decals I might give it a go. And for $16 I am also the proud(?) possessor of the Heller Amiot 143, which could possibly be the ugliest aircraft ever to cheat gravity. Might put it on floats, and with those huge picture windows along the bottom it's just begging to be used as a civilian sightseeing aircraft.

Very short trip to Southern today came away with 3D Kits Spitfire IXc/e conversion and the usual show special transfer sheet : Hornchurch v Luftwaffe ; Northern France Forays. 6 Spitfires, 2 FW 190's and 2 Me 109's

A pair of Novo kits this morning, via ebay: DH Hornet and Fairey Firefly. The Hornet might become a nightfighter, with a radome and tandem canopy, while the Firefly could get a Sabre engine and/or a low back and bubble canopy, the backseater being replaced with recce gear and/or extra fuel...
