My #1 son informs me that has procured, from a second hand store (Value Village for those Canucks who know of it), a Life-Like Gloster Gladiator. Not familiar with it but I suspect it's a repop of another, Lindberg maybe? Apparently the box is unopened and still plastic wrapped, so it's a deal for $5. When it gets here it will be whiffed of course, an idea I have had for a while is a hastily banged together and beefed up ground attack version for the repulsion of Operation Sea Lion. The name will be the Gloster Guttersnipe, and it will hopefully look as rough and nasty as the name.

Life-Like re-boxed Inpact kits for the US market.

Bristol Boxkite

Bleriot XI.

Deperdussin monoplane; single seat Gnome powered version.

Avro Triplane

Avro 'D' Biplane 1911 version.

Martin-Handasyde No 3 Monoplane.

Gloster Gladiator I

Hawker Fury I.

Bristol Bulldog IIa

Fairey Flycatcher

Very nice kits, especially considering their age.

Thanks JC, that mystery is solved. He also grabbed a Curtiss BF2C-1, no idea what I'll do with that yet.

I have owned 6 of those kits over the years and not one had that CD inside  :banghead:
Would you be so kind as to copy it and share the treasure with us?  ;D

Damn. I was sure that at least one boxing included a CD of Eurofighter artwork.  :banghead:

Reminds me, I was going to build both Revell 1/144 Eurofighters and compare the kits.

The kit that zap was in predates CD-roms by a fair few years lol.

The "computer" we had at home at the time (an Amstrad) had no hard drive and data was stored on these then new fangled storage device's called floppy discs.
