The Wooksta!

Have you tried the food at Telford?   I made the mistake of having a burger on the Sunday and regretted it later.  No toilet emergencies, I just felt sick and bloaty.

I can make better burgers myself - and that's no idle boast.  My Dad was a chef and I have his recipe.

So I wonder what the total retail value was of our combined reported stash growth last year, and whether this year's haul will beat it?

Are we keeping the world economy just about afloat?
;D ;D

NEVER add up the value of your stash...... it'll scare you to death...

To right there. I keep my old invoices (old work habits dies hard) and got half way through the Hannants pile (about 10 years worth) and walked away shaking in need of a stiff drink or two  :banghead: :drink:

Blimey, I'm hoping to pop off quietly. Don't fancy any execution.

(not been that bad have I ?)

Actually I have a database and I record all my purchase values and also what their value is currently (based on KitKing, Ebay and Hannants) that way I'm quids in. I paid less for my 'collection' than its currently worth.

Strangely my son keeps asking how much its all worth - definetly going to have to make them all before the Grim Reaper pays a visit (I think I'm married to his sister). I'll be 184 by then though.

I've reached my PayPal limit on ebay, every purchase on that site is now postal order for me. It's so frustrating which is good in a sense, I can finish off some of my builds. :banghead:

From our soon-to-be expat IHG, one Italeri 1:35 SdKfz 234 Puma armoured car, with resin wheels and a Jordi Rubio turned metal gun barrel. Nice!

Always had a soft spot for the Puma, and now I have one. Might well end up in service in North Africa/Iraq, or maybe a modernised 1960s version with anti-tank missiles. Or it might be another zombie-hunters' ride.

I must admit to having a database too, but it only features "trading" kits which I've bought or acquired with the intention of selling them, so I can work out whether I'm making a profit or not. Currently about £100 up, for an awful lot of work...

Arrived this week from an eBay seller: 1 box of Swann-Morton blades, cont. 100 blades. That should last me for a while (was getting tired of buying them 5 at a time)

Always buy mine that way, works out a lot cheaper

From work, a 1/35 Tamiya JSU-152 to go with a couple of figures that I got off Ebay also a "free" badly started 1/24 Airfix Sea Harrier, which was returned to us allegedly because there was a part was missing, I just think the guy was in over his head looking at the mess he made of it and thought he'd get his money back, which Amazon did.........I think most of it is a bin job.....

From lucky model, 2 Hobbyboss mig 15 UTI's in 72nd scale, for much cheapness. I like these kits, as they are a good fit and simple to build, will probably make some trainers with teeth for the cartel with them, and put shock cone noses on them. As well as plenty of weapons.
Also got a 1969 Revell HH-3 jolly green giant coming, been after one of these for a long time.
