Bugger - missed you. I was there from about 11.30 to 1.30, then I went out for a bit, then I came back about 2.30 - 3.30. :banghead:

There are a few people selling their stash on ebay. Once again out bid by a pound on the 1/72 AMT RC-135V. Looks like I'll have to build this from scratch.

Thorvic

From our Bolton show, managed to sell a few, and buy a few so worked out OK, and i managed to resist getting another A-400M after seeing a completed one by one of my club mates, wonderful build but did bring home the reality of the size of it !!!!.

Anyway back on topic my purchases were :-

Model Alliance 1/72 TSR2 Decal Sheet  (Excellent in service schemes with the RAF)
Academy 1/72 F-18A Hornet (RAAF/CAF/Spanish version) to be RAN
Hasegawa 1/72 Grumman OV-1A Mohawks x 2 (Was after these and chuffed to find them in that stash clearance )
Model Alliance profile book on HMS Ark Royal which goes rather well with the decal sheet for i picked up last year or so.

Also managed to get some bits & peices for Overkiller who was unable to attend due to unxepected work commitments

My turn for the Bolton show additions.

All bar the last entry are 1/72nd

From Thorvic
Airfix Avro Lancaster B I Special.
Revell Dassault Mirage IIIE/R.

From the same guy that Falcon "Strip mined"
Airfix F-86 D Sabre dog.
Airfix P-80A (x2)
Airfix HS-125 Dominie T-1.
Airfix OV-10A Bronco.
Airfix westland Whirlwind HAS 22.
Airfix AC-47 Spooky.
And all for the grand sum of £17. I hate to think how much I would have had to pay out on Ebay for the same.

From an under table sale (A580 Modelers).
Amtech EC-135N/E ARIA "Snoopy"
A steal at £26.

And from Chrisnord.
Corgi die cast Klingon Bird of prey.
That will be heading off to my nepthew in due course.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Now me for Bolton IPMS buys - three guesses....

From Thorvic: Airfix Fiat G-91Y. He lived up to his EKFG name here, since I've been looking fruitlessly for one for weeks (where have they all gone?) and it was the first thing I saw in his sale box.... ;D

From the same Airfix guy that was being locust-swarmed by everybody else (all 1/72nd):

Magister (to eventually produce a second, in-flight, swept-wing one since my first is yellowing...)
F-86D Sabre (more fodder for PW Avro Archers if I ever get around to them)
P-80 Shooting Star (how can you not?)
F4D-1 Skyray (ditto - been resisting overpriced ones for ages)
P-61 Black Widow contents still sealed (for £4!!!!) (Various ground-attacker ideas)
F2-H Banshee contents still sealed (for £4!!!!) (Various possible wing+engine swaps)

Plus loads of tools, consumables and various bottles of jallop....

Oh and Chris just reminded me: 2 x Wee Friends Browning 0.50" cals with barrel jackets on pintle mounts

I managed to do a bit of ransacking of the guy with the old airfix stuff too,
Airfix 1/72nd scale Meteor Mk 3 don't care how good or bad it is as it will be donating its wings to something else
Matchbox Skyknight, scruffy box for 3 quid
Nu bee L200 Turbolet, for parts
NuBee TU 20 box scale, but still pretty big, also for parts
Airfix Britten Islander, not complete so parts donor.
airfix Cessna OV-2, complete for much cheapness
Revel Fiat G91 for much cheapness
Revell 1/72nd scale TU 22 Blinder for gratis, which is nice.
A load of resin turbo prop engines,as fitted to the Japanese turbo prop P2, many thanks to Martin H for those beauties.
also some Vallejo paints, plastic weld and some knives and dental tools.
amost forgot, 2x wee models Saracen suspensionsets with wheels in white metal, for a future SHADO  build.

Three more 1/72 Lockheed Constellations in various states for scrap from ebay. I might be able to use the decals from my Airfix C-130K -'Royal Air Force Air Support Command', for a passenger/cargo build.

The Wooksta!

From ebay:

M&E Spitfire Tr.9.

Very rough limited run conversion from the late 80s.  Buildable.  Makes the Brigade one look like Tamiya by comparison...

NARSES2

From the MZ sale. Dragon 1/72 Meteor F.3

Means I've got both the F.1 and F.3 in the MZ sale over the last couple of weeks for less then the RRP of one kit

No F3s in the Newcastle branch - just come from there!

And I acquired:
2 Revell Walruses.

Plus a die cast Aston Martin DB9.  24th scale so it goes nicely with all my other car kits.  Not too keen on the colour, but for a tenner it was worth it.  The wheels look a bit naff, so may get some aftermarket for the Tamiya Aston Martin DBS kit, use them on the the Tamiya one and keep the Tamiya wheels for the die cast.
