First kit of the year for me arrived on the 17th from ebay.
1/72nd Italeri C-119G, may be the real world camo RoCAF markings in the kit. Think that's two G's, one C and one gunship AC-119K in the stash now so I might actually build one now!

Well I'm back after an absence that was far too long...been lurking on here for about 3 weeks now, and since the model bug resurfaced I've mad a couple of buys.  Last week I stopped by one of my LHS, one that I've been going to since I was about 15, but which I hadn't been to in over a year and was very sad to find out they are closing the doors next month.  They're having a Going-out-of-business sale so I got:

1/48 AMT F7F-3N Tigercat-25% off
1/48 Hobbyboss F-111A-50% off

Made another stop at another LHS later in the day to find them happily still going strong, though the plastic kit selection has shrunk to make way for more RC trucks...anyhoo, still picked up:

1/72 Hobbyboss F9-F Panther
1/72 Hobbyboss F-5E

It sure feels nice to be building again, though I suspect I should whittle away at the stash instead of adding to it...just too damn tempting though!

So I got that going for me...which is nice....
