Frog never did a Sea Hornet, it was a Hornet F3.  However, for some reason the instructions say Sea Hornet - it was pointed out a few weeks back and I checked and it does indeed say Sea Hornet.  Wonder if they were going to do one and then bottled out?

My mistake on that...I've got "Sea" things on the brain at the moment, but the box clearly says "D.H. Hornet F.Mk3".

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

A 1/48 Hasegawa F-14B Tomcat "VF-103 Jolly Rogers" cheap off a friend as he didn't want it.

Indeed the box does.  The instructions in the original Red boxing (my favourite one with two 41 Sqn Hornets over RAF Church Fenton) do say Hornet and Sea Hornet.

Ian the Kiwi Herder

Shouldn't be posting on this thread, given that I'm jettisoning 50% of the stash in preparation for our move(most of it has gone now..), but was innocently 'window shopping' on that well known on-line auction site and found an 1:48 Academy Sea Knight at a start price of 0.99p.

Couple of days and couple of bids later, and I won it for £13.60 !! - Hannants price £42.99 - You probably can't get a Fujimi 1:72 kit for under £14.00 !!

The Wooksta!

Not building them and probably won't for another ten years, but I think I really should get one or two of that sheet before the prices go mental!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Today in the post

1 x 1/72 Airfix AlphaJet box A03035.

A bit dissapointed as I was hopeing it had French Air Force marking inside. Unfortunatly it has the QinetiQ markings and Belgan Air Force so still looking for French Air Force trainer markings for an AlphaJet.
