Trip to Manchester for other things "just happened" to go past Modelzone, so....

Oxford Die-cast 1/76th Standard Vanguard in RAF colours. Should look good posed next to anything 1950s...

Trumpeter 1/35th RF-8 Aerosan. Not my scale normally, but I couldn't resist the sheer whacky-races madness of the thing... ;D

Couple more airbrush jars...

Picked up a few things at the IPMS show at Anniston, Alabama today.

Heller 1/72 T-28 Fennec
Matchbox 1/72 Meteor NF 11/12/14
Airfix 1/72 Roland CII

Also won raffle prize. A PM 1/96 F4 Phantom II with Turkish markings.

Don't have any specific plans for these, but I'm considering WHAT IF ideas.

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

Found a trio of Arii anime kits at Goodwill this afternoon:

1/100 Super Gerwalk VF-1A
1/20000 Queadol-Magdomilla
1/20000 Nupetiet-Vergnitzs

The first is a non-transformable model of the fighter from Macross in its in-between mode (half plane/half robot suit).  That turned out to be built, but unpainted, and all the decals are still on the sheet.  The two capital ships are still all on the sprues, but each kit is supposed to include a 1/20000 mini of the SDF-1, and it's missing from both.  Still, it wasn't a bad haul at $2.99 each.

Also, on order from Jimnohio.com, an Esci 1/72 F-15D.

So far this year, nothing.  SWMBO is very happy!  Unfortunately (for her, that is!) My CF-100 Canuck project is terminated due to a serious Cat Attack and I'm off to the LHS when we take the grandkid home tomorrow . . . There is a great one about 5 miles from their place . . .  ;) ;) ;)
